Canada - Day 3

On Monday, day 3 of our trip, we went to go see Mark's grandma, who we call, "Beppe."  It's pronounced, "Bep-Uh."  She lives in an assisted living program and seems to be doing really well.  She turned 90 this past January and she's still so bright!  Mark, Marcus, and I went by first.  Mark's mom, Emma, and Sam came just shortly after we got there.  It was nice visiting with her, re-introducing Marcus, and just hanging out.  It only took Marcus a minute or two to warm up to her.  While there, the three children colored her a picture and played with various toys and books that we brought from home.
When it was time for Beppe to go to lunch, we wheeled her down and said our goodbyes.  We then ate lunch and everyone went home.  Marcus took a good long nap when we got back.  Needless to say, he was tired.  We ate supper at home and then played a few rounds of t-ball out back.  Marcus really LOVED Sam's T, so we'll have to get him one for his birthday.  Next, we packed back into the car to go see Emma's soccer game.  It was a lovely field, close to where they all lived, so it was nice to drive over and watch her play.  Marcus and Sam enjoyed kicking a ball on the sidelines themselves while Lisa, Mark, and I watched the game.  When it was all over, Aunt Lisa had ring pops for all 3 of the children and Marcus was beyond excited about it.
Mark's cousin, Craig, came over for a visit to end the evening and we all enjoyed the nice weather, out on the deck.  The weather may have been dry while we were up there, but it was SO NICE during our stay.

While playing t-ball with Marcus, Mark actually hit the T off the stand.

Marcus thought this was hysterical.  He kept laughing saying, "Daddy broke it!  Daddy broke it!"

"Smiling" for mommy

Good thing Aunt Lisa brought juice boxes!
