A college friend came to town

On Monday, I got a call Tynisha, a dear friend from college.  It had been probably a couple of years since we've been in touch, for whatever reason, but luckily she was driving through town and wanted to hang out.  She has a 4 year old daughter named Addison and she is just a DOLL!  Both Tynisha and Addison came early in the afternoon, had supper with us, and even spent the night!  Mark took both Marcus and Addison outside so T and I could talk and it was just like we were in college again - only we were older, more "seasoned," and now we were mothers.  It was an absolute blessing to visit with her and not only that, but Marcus REALLY enjoyed Addison.  They did puzzles together, ran in circles, and just were great friends almost immediately.  Here are a few pictures from their visit and of Marcus this past week.

When Tynisha called, we were outside painting.

He was saying, "Cheese"

Tynisha reading Marcus the new book she brought him.

Putting puzzles together, another sweet gift from Addison & Tynisha.

She was trying to teach him to stand on his head.

College friends with our sweet children.

Daddy reading Marcus his favorite bedtime book, "How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight?"

Snazzy new church outfit - 3T!

We're just starting to do crafts together.  This one did NOT end well.

Sweet Stinker

Last Friday, our Mama's Prayer group came over.  We had 11 total kids, but the oldest 2 babysat the younger ones in the basement while us mamas prayed for our children upstairs.  The two babies were crawling on the floor when I took this picture.  WHAT A BLESSING!
